What This Site Does
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript, uses no analytics or tracking of any kind, and loads nothing from third parties — no external fonts, no CDNs, no embeds, no social media widgets. There are no accounts, no comments and no forms. Pages do link out to other sites, which have their own privacy policies and receive no data unless you actually click through. The only personal data processed here is the server log described below.
Server Log Files
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, the hosting infrastructure processes your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested and status returned, the amount of data transferred, the referring URL if your browser sends one, and your browser and operating system version.
This is needed to deliver the page, keep the service secure, and defend against attacks and abuse. It is not merged with other data and is not used to identify individual visitors. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in operating this website securely. The hosting provider retains these logs for a short period for those security purposes and then deletes or aggregates them.
Cloudflare, Inc. acts as a processor on my behalf under Article 28 GDPR. As a US company it may process data outside the European Economic Area; the data processing agreement in place includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as the safeguard required by Chapter V GDPR. Contacting Me
If you write to tim@neowire.ai, I process your address and whatever you put in the message in order to answer it, on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR — or Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract. I keep the correspondence for as long as the matter and any statutory retention periods require, then delete it.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Article 16), erased (Article 17) or its processing restricted (Article 18), to receive it in a portable format (Article 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21). Write to tim@neowire.ai to exercise any of them. Note that the only data described here is a short-lived server log keyed to an IP address, which I generally cannot link back to you without additional information from you (Article 11 GDPR).
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The one competent for me is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf.
